Apple Configurator requires the DEECD root cert and the Wifi Cert to install seamlessly.
Open AC (Apple Configurator) and create a new profile with the '+' button.
On the "General" side tab of the new Profile, give the profile an arbitrary name. "Edustar School WiFi" for example.
Move to the bottom "Certificates" side Tab and upload your certificates with the (+) button.
Enter your password into the user certificate that you set when the certificate was created.
(You'll need to re-enter this password once more later.)
Move up to the Wi-Fi side tab and enter the details for the EduStar Wireless as below:
(This is network dependent but the pictured should work for most)
Proxy Server URL:
(Automatic works here for most new devices however specifying the following is required for older versions of iOS so specifying is prefeered)
Accepted EAP Types:
TLS and PEAP
Enter the certificate password
Select the PFX certificate imported earlier.
Tick the certificate to trust it.
Note: For Apple TVs, You may add a Global HTTP Proxy on that side tab to use a proxy over ethernet (recommended)
This, however, will only work if the ATV is supervised.
Save and Prepare/Install or export for use elsewhere.
A template profile has been attached below *without certificate* that can be imported for use in AC.
An OSX User Cert Profile creator has also been attached to automate all of the above.
